These three-phase rubrics are included as part of the Evaluating the K-12 Literacy Curriculum text. They are used to support the evaluation of your school district's literacy instruction and curriculum. This is a three-phase process:
Phase One: Evaluate current instructional practices
Phase Two: Evaluate current literacy curriculum/program used in the district
Phase Two: Evaluate program/curriculum up for adoption
Not all phases need to be completed. This depends upon the goal of the review.
